Explanation

From 2014, the scoring method in PreO is 1 point for each correct control (not including timed control), the time limit for each timed control is 30 seconds, used only for distinguishing the rank of competitors of the same score, and scored by timed used and 60 seconds penalty for each wrong control; before or in 2013, each correct control (including timed control) were scored 1 point, the time limit for each control was 60 seconds, and scored by timed used and 60 seconds penalty each wrong control, ranking was determined first by score then by time.

In TempO, the time limit for each timed control is 30 seconds, the scoring method is the time used and 30 seconds penalty for each wrong control, added directly to determine the winner.

In relay, the result is the sum of total time used in all time stations, and 30 seconds penalty for each mistake at time stations, and 60 seconds penalty for each mistake, or each 5 minutes of overtime in the PreO course, these 3 parts are added to determine the winner.N
